I previously wrote about the Nevada Secretary of State’s business portal named after Samuel Clemens’ (aka Mark Twain) brother Orion. The Secretary of State announced the first phase last December which addressed Uniform Commercial Code filings. This second phase incorporates Business Licensing, Marks, and Notary filings into ORION. As a result, SilverFlume, the Secretary of State’s current online service, will no longer be available for business filings.
